What does AI drafting cost?
Anthropic charges by the amount of text sent and received. With the app's default settings, one request is capped at about 30,000 tokens in (roughly 20,000 words of your project) and 6,000 tokens out. At the prices built into the current app for the default model, that is at most about US$0.12 per request, and usually less. The default monthly limit of US$2 allows roughly 16 such requests or more.
Anthropic sets and may change its prices. Check Anthropic's own pricing page for current rates. A Claude chat subscription does not include API use; the API is billed separately.
